The Kamloops Art Gallery is delighted to present a wonderfully diverse exhibition of works in a variety of mediums by local artist Terry Kirkpatrick. Brushes on Wheels runs from June 8 to July 20, 2008 in The Cube, which is free to the public.
Since becoming partially disabled in 1991, Terry Kirkpatrick has completed accounting and computer courses at Thompson Rivers University and received an Art Diploma from Stratford Career Institute in 2002. He creates works in pastel, acrylic, and oil paint. His work has been displayed at the Secwepemc Museum, Art in the Park at Riverside Park, and the Kamloops Art Walk. Kirkpatrick’s images are drawn from First Peoples iconography, his friends, and his personal experiences.
